Make your Orangery exactly the way you want it. Customise all features from the overall design down to the stain or paint colour and even the ironmongery colours and styles. We can help you choose a style of handle for the internal fixtures, and if that isn’t enough we can also supply windows and doors for the rest of your property to match your Orangery.
The main thing to choose is the size and shape of your orangery. The size will largely depend on the property type and location. We can supply orangeries to extend everything from a large detached country property right through to a narrow terraced London home.
Once the layout and dimensions have been decided upon, the next part of the customisation can begin. Typically the next choice will be the material used – we offer a choice of timbers, stains and paints so that your new Orangery will suit your property perfectly. There are also a wide range of design possibilities concerning what proportions of the Orangery will be constructed from brick (or stone etc.) and glazed framing. Perhaps you want brick corner pillars, a full brick frontage with only a few doors and windows, or the whole structure to be timber framing with no brickwork at all? The choice is yours. All of these decisions will also have an effect on the cost of the orangery, so you can strike the right balance between cost and appearance to suit your home and your budget.
Orangery Styles
Because we manufacture orangeries from scratch in our joinery, the style possibilities are unlimited. Shape, size, wood type, roof lantern size, internal architecture, window styling and brick base are all completely customiseable. We use premium Farrow and Ball paint colours and can match all colours with our colour matching service. If you prefer, we offer a range of idigbo, sapele and bespoke wood stains.
Timber, Oak or Pine?
The choice of wood offers you additional customisation, the main difference being the cost and the appearance. Timber is generally more cost effective whilst oak is the most expensive for the orangery frame.
Orangery Size
A big styling factor will also depend on the size of the finished product. Our interior designers can provide advice and guidance on sizing / planning permission etc. Please note that we can also design and build the product to accommodate existing spaces.

Edwardian Style
Edwardian orangeries typically incorporate a square or rectangular floor plan and uses strong bold lines and a decorative finish to give the Edwardian appearance that can complement properties of any age.
Victorian Style
Victorian style orangeries usually feature ornate gothic like features which give the old style appearance usually attributed to Victorian properties. They tend to be rounded with a bay window at the end of a square or rectangular floor plan.
Lean To
Lean to orangeries use the outer property wall as a part of the structure giving that “Leaning” appearance.
Gable Fronted
Gable fronted orangeries are a popular choice as they provide maximum floor space, light and a high pitch roof. These really add space and a light airy feeling to any property they are installed on.
