"Panels and Stacking Configurations"

At Orangeries UK, we supply a wide variety of bifold doors in terms of both panels and stacking configurations. When making a decision on either, you’ll have to bear in mind your property type, size and layout.

For a smaller space or to replace french doors, we recommend two panel bi folding doors.

Three panel bi folding doors are the most popular as they’re suitable in most spaces. With this design, you have the freedom to choose between three opening options: all doors sliding to the right, all doors sliding to the left, or two doors sliding to one side while the third panel acts as a traffic door.

If you have a larger space, your options are almost limitless. We offer up to 16 panels with numerous opening options.

Benefits

Our bifold door products allow more natural light and air into a home, orangery or conservatory. By allowing more natural light in, you’ll reduce your electricity, heating and ventilation costs up to 70 percent and save energy. What’s more, bifold doors essentially allow you to merge your indoor and outdoor spaces. Bifold doors create an open layout and dramatically increase your open space compared to traditional french or patio doors. Not only do they add a ‘wow!’ factor, they are incredibly secure, durable and increase natural airflow into a property while still maintaining excellent thermal retention.

We can customise any set of doors to match an existing structure or can design, style, and manufacture a set from scratch. Our doors are made with absolute precision with a product guarantee of 5+ years.

Customisable options

Our bifold doors are bespoke. This means that the specifications will vary depending on your requirements. Choose from:

  • Dozens of colours and stains
  • Hardwood, oak, timber, pine or aluminum
  • Finishes and styles of hardware including locks and handles
  • Glass glazing options
  • Different track options

You’ll also be able to customise the thickness of each leaf (with the standard being 68mm), the depth of the outer frame (with the standard being 142 mm), and the width of both the siteline and leaf frame.
